U-verse Extended Reach HSI

In an effort to provide U-verse to more customers, AT&T is extending the U-verse footprint with Extended Reach HSI (ERHSI). By extending the U-verse footprint there are benefits to the customer, the company and you: more services available to the customer, more customer base, revenue for the company, and more sales opportunities for you.

• U-verse Internet (3-12 Mbps) and U-verse Voice (all plans) available.
  • U-verse TV is not available, complete the Triple Pack bundle by offering U-verse HSI, U-verse Voice, and AT&T | DIRECTV.
• U-verse system message - Displays loop qual results only showing U-verse Internet and U-verse Voice are available. A pop-up message says: The customer is eligible for U-verse HSI and Voice only. DirecTV is available at this address.
• Network Type - Fiber to the Node (FTTN). This is not IP-DSL.
• Equipment – 5031RG.
• New Provides - This requires a full tech install (FTI).
• Change Orders - Existing U-verse customers may be eligible for customer self-install (CSI).
• Order BAU - Follow your systems and read proper disclosures.

FAQs

Can the FTI charge be waived since the customer cannot have CSI?No. Quote the FTI charge. Offer any applicable promotions to close the sale.

How will I know if the customer is in the ERHSI area?
U-verse CRM presents an alert message and qualification results that indicate customer is only eligible for U-verse HSI and U-verse Voice. In addition, Offer Buddy and the Wired/DSL systems also display a U-verse eligibility message.

When will U-verse TV be available to these customers?At this time U-verse TV is not available; only U-verse HSI and U-verse Voice are available. Offer AT&T | DIRECTV to complete the Triple Pack.
